Our Responsibility

Our involvement in the sustainable harvesting of our botanicals is very near to us

Aloe Ferox Exports in partnership with the Cape Aloe Movement works actively to enforce sustainable harvesting practices of the Aloe ferox species. Not only that, but we also work side by side to see all participants in the supply chain of this industry reach their full potential.

"Inspired by the ideals of the Nagoya Protocol, The Cape Aloe Movement promotes the sustainable utilization of the indigenous Aloe ferox plant in a manner that is fair and equitable to the indigenous traditional tappers as well as the broader stakeholders in the aloe industry."

We also work closely with other regulators of our industry namely the Aloe Council of South Africa, Department of Environmental Affairs and Cape Nature to ensure that our products, production methods, harvesting and export procedures adhere to the highest standards of regulation.
